How WaxOne Was Created: The Story Behind the Brand

Before WaxOne, there was Dimensions in Aesthetic Advancement, now known as Dimensions Skin Care Distribution.

In 2007, Randy Brenner and Michelle D’Allaird-Brenner founded Dimensions to fill a growing need in the professional skincare industry for equipment and product representation backed by real education, authentic customer service, and a simpler buying experience.

What started with just four customers and one product line in the Northeast has grown into a nationwide distribution company serving thousands of licensed professionals, spas, schools, and clinics across the country.

From the beginning, Dimensions was built on relationships, not transactions. We were in treatment rooms, classrooms, and clinics supporting hands-on training, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and real client concerns. Our team is made up of licensed aestheticians and educators who understand how products perform in real services, not just in marketing materials.

In 2016, we expanded by opening our own distribution and educational facility alongside The Aesthetic Science Institute, our New York State licensed and CIDESCO-approved esthetics school. Owning both the distribution company and the school keeps us deeply connected to education and to what is happening inside treatment rooms every single day.

As Dimensions grew, so did our commitment to doing business differently.

After nearly two decades with a front row seat to the industry, we gained something invaluable: perspective.

We saw what worked. We saw what did not. And eventually, we realized it was time to build something better.

What We Learned as a Distributor

After nearly 15 years working in esthetics and hair removal with thousands of professionals nationwide, we noticed a pattern.

The same products.
The same frustrations.
Prices increasing year after year.

Minimal innovation or improvement.

When you talk to professionals every single day, you understand what really matters. You hear what slows services down. You hear what clients complain about. You see how small inefficiencies turn into lost time and lost revenue.

In one single week, several customers asked us the same question:
Why isn’t there a better alternative? Why haven’t you created your own wax line?

At the same time, we were told by one of our own suppliers to “stop making promises” and “stop working so hard for your customers.”

That was the moment everything changed.

We realized the industry did not need another private label product. It did not need another trendy formula wrapped in buzzwords.

It needed wax created by people who actually understand how professionals work and what they need to succeed.

The Creation of WaxOne

With a background in chemistry and decades of hands-on industry experience, we set out to build something better.

Not a private label product.
Not a trend driven formula.
A true professional wax line.

We took nearly two decades of experience listening to our customers, understanding their frustrations, and seeing what slowed services down, and used that insight to guide every step of development. WaxOne was shaped by real conversations, real treatment room challenges, and real performance expectations.

We focused on performance first, using modern formulation technology and the safest, highest quality ingredients available. For more than a year, we tested countless variations with multiple manufacturers. Every trial was evaluated in the only way that matters, in real treatment rooms.

We were not looking for “good enough.” We were looking for consistency, flexibility, strength, and control.

Eventually, we found it and WaxOne Total was born.

Made in Europe by a highly experienced and respected manufacturer, WaxOne is produced under strict quality control to ensure reliability and consistency from batch to batch.

Every bag.
Every bead.
Every service.

We believe great wax does not need constant reformulation. It does not need endless variations. It does not need to chase trends.

It needs to work.

Every day. For every client. For every professional.
